Halloween 2008

Here are a few more Halloween pictures! We tried to get a good shot of the kids before we left for Trick or Treating. Not so sure we were successful, but I'll let you decide for yourself. The only thing I am sure of, is that they are darn cute! Ok, admittedly, I'm biased. But, they are so darn cute!
This would be good, except for the dragon claws in Aaron's face.
Ok, this one is good too.
This one I thought was really funny!

Tyler: Will you take the picture already!!!
Aaron: See my tonsils? They're right in here...
Matthew: What's this brown curly stuff hanging from Abby's head?
Abby: I'm a princess, I'm a princess.

Here's a few more 'formal' shots.

Thought this one was cool. Just FYI the sword and shield were broken in less than 24 hours.

Tyler, aka Prince PhilipPrincess Aurora/Sleeping Beauty Abby's pea (get it? Princess and the Pea?) Please, no comments on the strategically placed Pea. I know you probably won't believe me, but it was NOT planned. And of course, the Dragon! Apparently he's supposed to be purple to be truly authentic sleeping beauty.
And, in case you were wondering, I did do my motherly duty and separate all the 'good' candy (aka chocolate) from the 'bad' candy (aka not chocolate). I know, its a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.

Oh, I just remembered something really funny. At least I thought it was funny, in fact, I'm giggling now. I took the kids to Pete's office so everyone could ooooh and aaaaaah at them. They always do. On the way out, Abby and Ty were running ahead and I was carrying Matthew rushing after him. Pete was straggling behind and I wasn't really paying attention to Aaron. Pete was, I think. Then I hear it. The FUNNIEST comment ever.

"Oh, there's the guy with the stinky breath."

Now, I seriously thought he was talking about Pete! I didn't think about the fact that he could be talking about the 2 year old dragon chasing after me. The comment itself was probably not that funny. But I find a lot of humor in the fact that I actually, for a second at least, thought he was talking about Pete! Truly, I did.
