Rain, Rain, Go Away!!

Another rainy rainy day. This morning was/is Ty's last soccer game. Pete and Ty are currently getting soaked and the rest of us remain in the dry, warm house. At least its the last game!

Busy weekend ahead! I am meeting a couple friends in a while to go to Walgreens to show them how to deal shop there. I have been having fun with the Albertsons deal this week! So far, I have gotten $357 of groceries for $33. I calculated it to be 90.75% savings! I need to run in for a few more transactions. Probably tomorrow.

Tonight we are going to our friends' house for a birthday party. They have 8 kids and one of them is a few months older than Abby, and she's turning 6. I have known the Kestis since I was a Junior in college. Back then, I was a single diva and they only had 3 kids. Funny thing, she had such a long break between #6 and #7 that I managed to squeeze out 3 kids in that time :) Anyway, they are great friends of ours that we see far too little! Why is it that life gets so stinkin' busy??

Tomorrow I need to make one more batch of Apple Pie Filling and then I'm D.O.N.E. with apples. I am hoping to get my new apron sewed this weekend too, we'll see how that goes.
