We had another long, busy weekend! Saturday Tyler had a soccer game. It was cold. He did not enjoy it. I'm so glad there is only one more game! They were all crabby too, which is never a good thing.
I did get away to go to a craft show that I've been to every year since we moved here. It was fun. I went by myself; that was the funnest part. I didn't buy anything. I have this problem, every year. I see cool stuff there, look at the price tag and decide I can make it myself. Do I ever make them? Nope.
Saturday night. Daylight Savings. Oh FUN! Now, I remember actually looking forward to falling back each October. Well, I guess it was November this year. Anywho, I loved the idea of an extra hour of sleep. Now, all that means is that instead of waking up at 7am, the kids wake us up at 6am. Aaron greeted us at exactly 5:56am. Oh Joy! Luckily, it doesn't take much to get them on a normal schedule.
Sunday morning, we went to church. I have admited to having a matching obsession with my boys. I laid out their cute, adorable, PREPPY (just for you BJ) outfits. One shirt, one pair of pants. Three piles. Not confusing, right? Well, it seems I was wrong.
What is wrong with this picture?
Aaron wanted in on the picture action. He is demonstrating the appropriate ratio of pants to shirt. Oh, and motorcycle.
So everyone gets all spiffy, and off to church we go. By the way, it takes a long time to drop off and pick up 4 kids. Hard work.
Here is Matty eating lunch. As I type this I realize its out of order because he is wearing pajamas and should be wearing clothes to match the above outfits. You know, the pants Tyler has on. So apparently this is breakfast. In any case, its still Matthew!
After lunch, I made 16 quarts of applesauce. I used my little Kitchen Aid attachment Gem and it saved so. much. time. Seriously, of actual 'work', it took all in all maybe 1 1/2 hrs. It took longer due to processing and cooking times but during that time I did my own thing, so that doesn't count!
After that, Abby and I went to Michaels for some project equipment. On the way home, we stopped at Fred Meyer to pick up...something. Can't remember what. But, we came home with the first Christmas Oranges of the season!!!!
